The following is a brief summary of the faith based activities offered throughout the year:
Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)
For children in grades one (1) through six (6) attending non-Catholic schools. Classes are conducted on Monday and Tuesday afterernoons at 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday evening at 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
GENESIS is an Integrated Youth Ministry Program with Faith Formation as its Core. It is designed specifically for our 7th, 8th and 9th grade parishioners. The schedule of events is published throughout the year and communicated to both parents and youth as necessary. Please refer to the GENESIS link on this website for more information.
G.Y.M. (God’s Youth Ministry) is our High School Youth Ministry program for all parishioners in level 9-12. You can view our objectives for the program by viewing the GYM tab on our website.
Reception of Sacraments: Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s policy requires two (2) years participation in a parish religious education program for eligibility for the reception of the sacraments.
- First Reconciliation (Penance) is celebrated in Level 2 in the month of January
- First Holy Eucharist is celebrated in Level 2 in the month of April
- The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in LEVEL 7 on a date determined by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
Children Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is offered each Sunday (September thru May) at the 10:00 AM Mass for all children in “K” through 4th grade.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) commences in the Fall on Tuesday evenings 7:30 PM. Please contact the Rectory staff for more details at 215-343-1288

Novenas –
- Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal after the 9:00 a.m. Saturday Mass.
- The Sacred Heart after the 9:00 a.m. First Friday Mass.
- Our Mother of Perpetual Help – Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Praying with the Sick – call rectory 215-343-1288 to arrange for a visit or Holy Eucharist either in the residence, hosptial or nursing facility
Sacrament of Baptism – Sunday afternoons at 1:30 PM. Pre-Jordan classes monthly on 3rd Thursday. Non-parishoner God parents must submit eligibility certificate one week prior to Baptism.
Sacrament of Matrimony – arrangements at least 6 months before wedding date, Pre-Cana required. Contact the rectory staff for details.
